Project 1:2.34
Today I’m launching a new blog which is dedicated to panorama-style photography, and more to the point a way of looking at it that means that anyone with a camera can see, compose, shoot, edit, and print an acceptable panorama photograph without needing a $30,000 camera or other specialist equipment.
Project 1:2.34 is a different way of looking at panoramic images that doesn’t include the need to join, or “stitch”, images together to make a larger picture with a panoramic aspect ratio. As you read through the posts you’ll hopefully either learn a thing or two, or see some more interesting images from me that are very different from my normal commercial work in weddings, portraiture, and glamour photography.
Of interest – the image that gained a bronze award at the International Loupe Awards was a result of the Project 1234 method:
Don’t be concerned that this is the end of Photo Rhubarb: it isn’t. This blog will continue as it has before, putting up sneak-peaks from my shoots with clients (another glamour session coming up next week, and a wedding too!), articles of interest such as the value of photography, or events or occasions that I get to attend.
I’d love you to head over and check out the new blog at proj1234.wordpress.com, and please don’t forget to leave a comment.
Cheers,
